‘You know, we instantly had a rapport, a recognition of kindred spirits. Our voices are so different, it didn’t sound on paper like it would work but it really does. That’s surprising to us and surprising to everyone. I think we’re already ahead of the game,’ the Every Breath You Take singer said.

Speaking to Rolling Stone about 44/876, Sting said: ‘The most important thing to me in any kind of music is surprise. And everybody is surprised by this collaboration - by what we’re hearing. We’re surprising’. With Don’t Make Me Wait, it became clear that Shaggy and Sting are the perfect blend, but when will 44/876 be released?
