AP Bodell Stuelpnagel, of La Mariposa Montessori in Santa Fe, stands next to her project at the 2024 Northeastern Regional Science and Engineering Fair. The fair showcases the work of young scientists from across the region.
The Achieving in Research Math and Science (ARMAS) Center at New Mexico Highlands University invites the community to experience the 67th Annual Northeastern New Mexico Regional Science & Engineering Fair on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the NMHU Student Union Building (8th & National, Las Vegas, NM).
This event showcases the region’s brightest young minds as they present innovative research in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The Public Viewing Session, from noon-3 p.m., offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore student projects, engage with future scientists, and witness the discoveries that could shape tomorrow’s world.
As a gateway to the prestigious Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF)— the world’s largest pre-college science competition—this fair not only highlights student achievements but also positions Las Vegas as a hub for academic tourism, drawing educators, families, and STEM enthusiasts from across the region.
